    Room: Sanctuary

Guided Scripture Meditation on Receiving God’s Love

    Presenter: Lucy Hughes, Ignite UAB
    Location: Prayer Room

This breakout session will include a Creative Guided Meditation about Remaining in Christ’s Love with a backdrop of soaking music lead by Ignite staff Lucy Hughes. Come be refreshed as you pull away mid conference to an encounter with Jesus. You are encouraged to bring journals and sketch pads.

Disciplines for a Deeply Formed Life

Presenter: Luke Taylor, Selah Church Location: Front Room

There's an old saying that goes, "You can give a man a fish, or you can teach a man how to fish." Sadly, much of the Christian faith has become a starved diet of getting a "spiritual meal" once a week from one's pastor. But this was never Christ's intention! In this breakout session, we'll learn how to fish.

    The Gospel…Good News for Sexuality

    Presenter: Skyler Farley, Ignite UNCC
    Location: Back Room

  • Supernational Evangelism

Presenter: Eunice Yuk, YWAM KCRoom: Sanctuary

Jesus followed the sensing of the Holy Spirit when it came to evangelism. Not only did he preach on the Kingdom but he also demonstrated its arrival through signs and wonders. Each encounter looked different according to what God wanted to reveal and do. Whether it is through healings, words of knowledge, deliverance, or simple acts of love, evangelism must be empowered by the Spirit. People are longing for a real encounter with God. Learn how to share Jesus backed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

    Resilient Discipleship

    Presenter: Jess Ray
    Room: Front Room

    Remaining in First Love

    Presenter: Maria Durso
    Room: Prayer Room

Ministering to Friends Suffering Mental Illness

    Presenter: Josh Stegenga
    Room: Back Room

In a culture of poor attachment, unhealthy behavior, and spiritual fatigue, it’s not hard to understand why our overall mental health is on a rapid decline. Despite our pharmaceutical advancements, and increasing availability to mental health professionals, the quality of our thoughts, emotions and habits seem to lack improvement. Perhaps the missing element in our attempt at bringing more progress and stability to our mental health is less professional and more communal. We were created first and foremost for developing healthy connections before moving on to any other process in life. In this workshop our goal is to help you realize that you are already equipped and capable of helping your friends who struggle with mental health issues. You will learn a simple strategy to be effective in every ministry encounter with friends who struggle with mental health.

  • Exercising Spiritual Maturity in Dating

Presenter: Niko & Carole Ann Peele, Ignite Movement
    Room: Sanctuary

    The Cost of Courage

Presenter: Jalean Daniels, Former Professional Soccer Player
    Room: Front Room

We’ve read the Bible stories. We’ve heard about people like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. And still others like David, Esther, Peter, and Paul. We read about the hardships they would face, the victories they would obtain and the losses they would experience. And even though they would live thousands of years before us, they too lived in cultures that wanted nothing to do with them. They felt the pressures of following Jesus, and they still ran after him while oftentimes looking death square in the face. And here’s the thing: our culture today is no different. The opposition towards Jesus and those who chase after him is real. Today’s cost might not be your physical life, but it could be your reputation. Your job. Your family. Your dreams. Living courageously for Jesus will always cost us something. Always. So the question is, are we willing to still chase him anyways?

Being a Peacemakers in a Divisive Culture

    Presenter: Jonathan Tremaine, Civil Righteousness
    Room: Prayer Room

Carving Ancient Paths in a New Generation

    Presenter: Sam Won, Pursuit NYC
    Room: Back Room

As we look to the future, we are excited about the possibilities. We believe in innovating and pioneering. Dreaming of new methods for a new day. Yet throughout the Scriptures, we see that we cannot venture forward without having strong ties to our history. God’s people are constantly reminded to recall testimonies of victories from generations past as well as to not move ancient boundary stones. As leaders for the Kingdom, we want the new wine, but that only flows from crushed fruit that grows from old roots planted in ancient soil.
